Dr.Yemane Gebreselassie and Dr. Alemu Gizaw, both specializing in Water Science and Technology, successfully defending their Ph.D. dissertation on June 5, 2022.

ACEWM co-hosted the International Conference on Water, Food, and Energy Security held from July 4- 5, 2022 at Sapphire Addis Hotel, Addis Ababa.

John Peter Obubu, a Ph.D. candidate at ACEWM defended his Ph.D. dissertation titled
“Impacts of Land Use, Land Cover and Climate Change on The Catchment, Livelihoods and Water Quality: A Case of The Eastern Arm of Lake Kyoga Basin”.

On the 10th of June 2022, ACEWM held a public seminar titled ‘Sustainable water management in the Nile basin region: The contribution of water science technology (WST) and Great Ethiopian Renaissances Dam (GERD)’.

On June 6, 2022, ACEWM held Ph.D. dissertation public defense of Rodgers Makwinja, a Ph.D. candidate specializing in Aquatic Ecosystem Management.
