The overall objective of this assignment is to develop guiding value limits/applicable standard, sludge management options and standardization methods for characterizing, categorizing, treating, recycling or recovering and disposal of sludge generated from urban and industrial wastewater treatment plants.

SCOPE OF THE ASSIGNMENT

• Development of methodology and sample size determination for quantification of sludge amount will be conduct in consultation with EFCCC
• Main focus will be given to textile Industry wastewater treatment plant sludge with inclusion of tannery, brewery and municipal wastewater treatment plants sludge as consulted with EFCCC
• Development of survey instruments (questionnaires) for key stakeholder ‘s consultation
• Review of all the relevant studies/reports, published journals, sludge management guideline in Ethiopia document and other countries sludge standard and guideline
