    • My research divides into three broad areas: (1) the environmental chemistry of pollutants from natural and anthropogenic sources in air, water, soil and food such as trace metals, pesticides, endocrine disruptors, fluoride and risk assessment (2) Wastewater treatment technologies (3) drinking water quality including developing sustainable technologies for the reduction of toxic inorganic and organic substances such fluoride in groundwater to safe drinking levels, point-of use water treatment technologies that are applicable in rural areas of developing countries for treatment of organic and biological pollutants.
