Co-PI since November 2019 for research project on Higher Education-Industry Partnership in Sub Saharan Africa (Power and Energy Sector) which is a collaborative capacity building project of University of Oxford(UK) and Addis Ababa University. It Funded by Anglo American Group Foundation and the UK Government through the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF)
  3. PI since January 2015 for research project on Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Collaborative Research on Sustainable Intensification to support Appropriate-Scale Mechanization Consortium to the local farmers which is a collaborative research project of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It is funded by USAID
  4. PI of a research project on Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Post-harvest Loss Reduction on Solar Grain Drying Research (Maize, wheat, chickpea and Sesame): This is funded by USAID through Feed the future innovation lab since January 20124 to date.
