Summer Internship Program in Ministry of Water Irrigation and Energy
Background
The Africa Centre of Excellence for Water Management (ACEWM) has recently signed partnership agreement with FDRE Ministry of water irrigation and energy (MoWIE). The main objectives of the academic and development partnership is to raise the quality of education and research in water management in Addis Ababa University and other higher education institutions; to contribute to the national efforts to build capacity and to address the water resources development and management challenges by the MoWIE.
One of key activity outlined in the agreement is to internship programs where ACEWM students can earn practical experience in water sector. The internship programme is designed to provide a framework, which allows our graduate students to gain an insight into the practical aspects of various water management activities and projects as well as policy and governance issues. It is intended that this experience be mutually beneficial, providing interns with invaluable experience and allowing the ACEWM and the MoWIE to benefit from the unique skills and experience of professional minded students from specialized backgrounds. Hence, ACEWM calls for interested applicants who wish to do internship.
Who can apply: First year M.Sc. students from water supply and sanitation stream
Duration of internship: One month (July 2019)

- Cover letter, motivation letter, CV, and academic performance of previous semester
Deadline of application: Until 26th, April 2019
Available internship position: Limited and granted based on competition
